With over 30 years of combined entertainment industry experience, Aaron Cooke and Jesse J. Leed have become leading producers and creative development executives of live variety television shows, live events, and live-streams.
After graduating from Virginia Tech with a degree in Business Finance, Aaron decided to pursue a career in the high-risk world of freelance entertainment. He started his production career in Washington D.C., working on live events, features and commercials, he quickly became the go-to-guy for out of town producers and productions in D.C. Through working on shows such as “A Capitol Fourth”, “Kennedy Center Honors”, and the feature film “National Treasure”, it became clear to Aaron that to be a leading producer in his field, he would need to move to Hollywood.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Aaron has had the opportunity to work with some of the most prolific producers and directors in Hollywood on some of the highest profile annual events including, the Super Bowl Half Time Show, Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, American Film Institute’s Annual Lifetime Achievement Award, The Grammys, and The Academy Awards.
Working with directors such as Louis J. Horvitz and Hamish Hamilton, and producers, Don Mischer and Bill Urban, Aaron has established a great reputation with vendors, venues, talent and crew alike. He has worked with the most recognizable networks including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, MTV, DISNEY, CNN, TVLand, TCM, HBO, SpikeTV, BET, USA, TNT and Comedy Central.
Jesse J. Leed
Jesse started his television career in high school, going on to earn a Bachelors Degree in International Communications from the prestigious Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. From the beginning, Jesse worked on extremely high-level television productions such as the "Super Bowl Half Time Show," the Annual CBS "Victoria Secret Fashion Show," and "The Emmys."
With a budding reputation, Jesse landed steady production management and producer jobs on shows such as “Miss USA” and "Miss Universe" Live from Vegas, Thailand, and Vietnam for NBC. He circled the globe for "Last Comic Standing", was in the center of the universe during Fox's "New Years Eve Live from Times Square" and managed a crew and cast of three hundred for "The Singing Bee" on NBC.
Jesse made the migration from production into development at The Gurin Company where he created formats, spotted interesting talent, developed characters, packaged, pitched, and oversaw shows once in production. After being with The Gurin Company for three years, Jesse got a call from the "busiest man in Hollywood," Ryan Seacrest. As Director of Development for Ryan Seacrest Productions, Jesse spent three years with his hands across RSP's robust development and production slate. Specifically, he developed, casted, and launched the Bravo hit series, “Shahs of Sunset” as well as other projects for A&E, CW, E!, NBC, VH1, CBS and Sky TV in the U.K. After RSP, Jesse moved on to become the Vice President of Development for Tremendous! Entertainment where he developed and produced shows for the Travel Channel, Destination America, History, Discovery, TLC, and A&E.
After Tremendous, Jesse joined legendary live event television producers Done + Dusted. There, Jesse helped develop their slate of large scale spectacle shows specifically MTV’s Wonderland where he not only produced but directed all the Live-Streams and digital content.
Together, Aaron and Jesse formed Live L!VE Media in 2015 to take their passion and experience in Live Broadcast Television to the burgeoning live-streaming market. One of their first projects under their banner was the Destination Unknown: Imagine Dragons concert broadcast live to Time Square and rebroadcast on iHeart’s website. They also produced Tesla’s Model 3 launch event live-stream hosted by Tesla founder Elon Musk.
Jesse and Aaron’s years of experience creating and producing live content gives them the knowledge and experience to run a top digital production company in the ever changing landscape of New Media. Aaron is an active member of the “Producers Guild of America” and both have defined their careers by being valuable team leaders who act with honesty, creativity, and integrity.
